Ya la estrenaron yo la vi en la cineteca nacional es una gran película mejor que Temporada de Patos. Lo que sucede es que salió con muy poquitas copias y es muy probable que no llegue a muchas partes pero se las recomiendo ampliamente. Saludos.

Asi es, puede que sea una pelicula que no le guste a unos, pero lo mas gracioso es como se molestan en dejar comentarios desaprobando e insultando, (claro ellos tienen la ventaja de estar en el anonimato, si critican supongo que por lo menos deben de mostrar su trabajo, por que es muy comodo criticar). que es lo mas seguro pero bueno no tengo el gusto aun de ver la pelicula pero he seguido la carrera de fernando desde sus inicios y conosco su trabajo y por eso me aventuro a decir ke la pelicula tiene lo suyo talvez no sera un jodorowsky pero tiene una vision inovadora en el cine y no cae en las mismas pendejadas del cine comercial sino ke cuenta una historia de una manera diferente "te pone a pensar" no te la da peladita y en l boca como has de estar acostumbrado a ver las peliculas.

It is dumb, but only because the people who were drilling ought to have checked if there were hazards beneath; clearly that didn't happen here. After all, the diameter of the drill bit was only 14", the odds of drilling into a mine are pretty astronomical. This is an ecological disaster; these seem pretty common these days, like the Great Pacific Landfill for example.

Dude if you listen to the commentator at 4:17 into the video, he says the canal from the Gulf of Mexico flowed for 2 days and filled the lake. Knowing that the Gulf of Mexico contains salt water (ocean), and the lake now contains water from the ocean,leads me to believe this is why the wateris salty.

This is a great song musically, but you can't deny that the lyrics " i was told a fairy story 'til I believed in the israelite( Jesus)" are anti christian. The next line Lake compares the fairy story about Jesus to the fraud that is Santa Claus, "I saw him through his disguise". If You listen to the U2 version, Bono changes the words to " but I believed in the israelite." I subtle change but done for a reason.

Like both Wakeman and Emerson but Wakeman is more of a technician whereas Emerson really writes and invents. Emerson brought the modern age of synths into being for cry out loud. He was the first to use a moog live, on stage. Emerson lives to perform and I've seen him 3 times. He's always right at the edge of disaster when performing and likes it that way. Wakeman just doesn't have that sort of energy live. Sorry but Emerson is at the top of the heap for composing and live performances.

No, I never made it big, I gave up on the dream while in a high school band - to focus on more mainstream goals (aka rat race) I was just irked by your comment that carl isn't of high enough calibre to even be in a cover band that didn't acheive success beyond paying the bills.

As far as being 'content' being in a 'COVER band!' ... I was not 'content' but I was not ashamed either. I made my living for many years as a musician. I didn't make the big time. I don't expect any drummer to be a machine. I do expect a drummer playing with top flight musicians to be able to keep time. I was a big fan back in the day, but I always knew something wasn't quite right. If you want 'feeling' listen to the original Nut Rocker, with Earl Palmer. He rocked AND kept time. The two are not mutually exclusive.
