love how she starts simply and adds more embellishments, chords, accidentals/passing tones and syncopation. very reminiscient of Keith Jarrett with the pedal bass on V and variations on a theme with major/bluesy harmonies ... I do wish she would get a little more 'out there', or rather, 'stay out there' in the playing ... she has a lot of nice outside lines but they always resolve so quickly to major/traditional harmony. Love the harmony she does around 5:55 ...

Mein Gott, wie steigert ihr euch da rein? Ist ja schön, was sie macht und das ist ja auch in Ordnung, nur überbewertet. Aber richtig traurig ist, wenn man behauptet, sie könne , wenn sie wollte, so improvisieren wie Stan Getz. Derjenige hat dann keine Ahnung. Man muss unterscheiden zwischen IMPROVISIEREN und PARAPHRASIEREN. Sie paraphrasiert einen kleinen Melodieabschnitt, improvisieren bedeutet über das komplette Harmoniegerüst was neues zu machen...! Ihr habt euren Geschmack und ich meinen.

Dabei geht es vor allem um die gemeinsame Freude an der Musik - dass das Publikum erst für sie singt, und sie dann für das Publikum spielt.
