I'm pretty sure this was Walt Disney's favorite song out of any project Disney studios had done. Maybe his fave song period. It really hits you how much it meant to him when you realize how his own father was very distant and never showed him much love, that approval was something he was striving for his whole life and never got. You can see where the song had so much meaning and how it meant so much to him. He was always longing to be shown some affection & a little care from his own parent.

I agree, Billy Corgan is a bit too much to stomach. But come on now, the man knows how to write a song. I've never been too big on Nirvana, I like the Pixies but most of their songs lack substance. MBV perfectly melds substance with melody and feeling- something I feel Nirvana and the Pixies were never able to achieve mutually.

I agree actually. But Kurt Cobain admitted himself, if it wasn't for The Pixies Nirvana would've never came to be. Kurt Cobain listened to all these guys. A lot of the orginators of Grunge or Alternative music didn't reap the benefits that followed in the early 90's since many of them disbanded shortly before. Either way; Nirvana, Pixies, and My Bloody Valentine are all great mind numbing music.
